Location location location! Right dead center of town on Rt 66. Small room includes microwave, fridge, and hairdryer. The innkeeper was very kind to us. Rooms small and old but that adds to the charm. We liked parking in front of our door. Prices fair. Recommended if you don’t mind minimum. Clean.

If you're looking for a modern fancy hotel, this is not it. But if you're looking for a clean, quaint, vintage-style hotel, this is where you want to stay. The building is older, and therefore not sound-proofed, with creaky and uneven floors and wall air conditioner units. However, the rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is nicely updated, and the water is instantly HOT! We were there two nights and we stayed in a 2 room 3 queen bed space, which was great since we had four adults. Our room was very clean and well-stocked when we arrived, and bonus, our room was cleaned again, the beds made, and the towels and washclothes restocked while we were out during the day. It was also in easy walking diatance to good restaurants, shops, and museums. If you want a comfortable and inexpensive place to stay on historic Route 66, this is a great place!

The room was quiet and well maintained. The bed was a little hard, I woke up with a sore back. If you're in a room close to Route 66, you will get woken up at night because the road noise is pretty bad. Check in wasn't too difficult, I showed up right at 3:00 and when I arrived the owner came out to greet me and checked me in. Although this is clearly an older property, it is well maintained and everything was functioning in our room. Showers were hot, the air conditioning worked fine to keep the room cool from the outside heat, etc. The price was great, we only stayed one night so it was a awesome value.

When we arrived in Williams Arizona we had been driving for hours. The first hotel we stopped at was not pet friendly and I have a chi - weenie weighing in at 6 lbs. The next one wouldn’t budge on an early check in. And so on we went with every hotel not willing to do a thing. Until we got to the Star Hotel and I can not say enough about this wonderfully accommodating place. They did all they could to help us and nobody said no. We checked in early, it is pet friendly and we had a hard time leaving. I have nothing but good things to say about our stay at the Star Hotel.

At first sight, king rooms were very small, but they were VERY clean. Small, but we stayed 2 nights and the beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to everything in Williams. My daughter runs every morning and felt safe by herself.

My family and I enjoy frequenting this hotel when in town. Hina and her family always provide exceptional and lively customer service. The rooms are decent and comfortable. Bathrooms seem to be newly remodeled. Best of all is that the hotel is right on Route 66 and close to some of the best restaurants and attractions. We’ll always choose Star Hotel for our stay in Williams.

This hotel is a hidden gem! I came to visit this town with family and a few places were big dog friendly (we got denied). Once we stepped foot into The Star Hotel, it was a complete 360! The owners are family based, extremely friendly, and were beyond accommodating! Prices were almost too good to be true as well. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s in the heart of a beautiful town. -Cheers, Alyse

Stayed here with my wife and kids and we loved it! The beds were very comfortable, and the AC units worked great to cool down the rooms. The family that runs the hotel is very nice and helpful. Our favorite part is that it was right in the middle of downtown Williams, AZ. There are so many cool shops and places to eat. You just walk out the door of your hotel room and you’re right there. This town was very charming and everything was themed around old cars and Route 66. We highly recommend the ice cream shop Oh Sweetie! We can’t wait to stay at the Star Hotel again next time we’re in the area.
